This week Storenvy was featured at Sail the Ghost Ship, a sweet site for news and reviews on music and media. Nick, who manages all of Storenvy Printing, gave an interview about our company vision.

He talked a lot about all the features we’ll be launching later this summer. Like…

“The main idea of Storenvy is not even live yet,” Roccanti explains. “Storenvy is going to be a social network designed around online stores. We know there are a ton of online store systems out there, and we really want to stand out. We want to allow shoppers and store owners to interact with each other. So I think our overall goal would be to build a really awesome shopping community.”

Check it out!

We had a blast at SXSWi this week! We’re still working on following up with so many great connections, and we picked up some great tips and ideas to make the site even better. Can’t wait to work with all our new friends!

For those of you we weren’t able to spend face time with, that’s Scott on the left, Nick on the right and me and Jon in the middle. And 3D Guitar Hero!

We’ll be there! (And the two-week countdown starts today!)

“For web professionals, self-googling should be second nature. Think of it as part of your every day routine. Self-google at least once a day. Don’t take it against yourself if you haven’t done it before, it’s perfectly normal and yes, recommended.” Hilarious… that someone finally put this into words.

Some gems from the past few months of Googling ourselves:

Storenvy Printing is Da Bomb…, posted by Stereo Bear, our best friend in the entire world, on Emptees. (Thanks to the Emptees crew for the lovely and affirming follow-up comments!)

Just wanted to thank Nick and the gang at Storenvy for doing such an amazing job on our last 3 designs for Stereo Bear.

They really nailed all the half tones and the color looks great. The ink is very soft and we couldn’t be any happier with them!

Storenvy is the clothing marketplace of my dreams, from DotComplimentary of The Daily Texan Blogs. (We dream about you, too.)

I prefer shopping online. I’ll pay the shipping as long as I don’t have to hear another story about a girl and her jerk boyfriend.

This is why Storenvy is the greatest idea ever. It’s a Web marketplace for clothing consisting of over 80 online, independent stores. It also allows clothing sellers to set-up digi-shop.

Storenvy.com, from Jonn McLain, owner of the hottest shoe store you’ll find, HabitatShoes.com.

The site is still fresh and will be growing tremendously over the next few months. It will be interesting to see how the social-side of the site takes off as well. If you are a wanna-be-rock star or an indie tee shirt designer, Storenvy.com needs to become your next best friend.

(Need a laugh? Also check out John’s post Things My Children Said Today, including hits like, “Fee Fie Foe Fum, I smell like an English bum.”)

Mmmm Cake is Good for Any Occasion
, from the Stereo Bear blog.

Yes, cake tastes good anytime, anywhere, for any reason! That’s why when our friend Nick spent countless sleepless nights creating our brand new Online Store, we decided he deserved a reward. So, we surprised him with a cake to celebrate his hardwork and accomplishment. I know it’s hard to read, but the cake says “Dear Nick, Get Some Sleep -Storenvy”

Needless to say, Google loves us. Almost as much as we love Stereo Bear.
